Our Roots in Rural Ohio
We’re a family of seven, Dean, Esther, and five kids, living on a 10-acre mini farm in the heart of Ohio’s Amish Country. Our property is alive with animals: hobby-grazed beef cattle, Trigger the horse, a cat named Miles, and of course, the dogs that started it all. For us, raising animals isn’t just something we do; it’s who we are.
The story of how we started raising dogs is simple. When our two oldest children were barely out of diapers, we adopted a Bichon female who became their constant companion. The bond between our kids and that dog was special. When she had a litter of six puppies, the happiness in our home was indescribable. It was at this moment that we knew we wanted to share that kind of joy with other families. What began as a single litter of puppies has blossomed into a career. Bernedoodles have become one of the breeds closest to our hearts.
Our Kennel is Built for Comfort
Our dogs are all raised in our modern, climate-controlled kennel built for their comfort and health. The kennel has indoor areas that keep our dogs comfortable year-round. We also have large outdoor play areas where they can stretch their legs, run, and enjoy the fresh air. Given the Bernese heritage in Bernedoodles, proper temperature management is especially important, and our climate-controlled environment ensures our dogs stay comfortable year-round.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Families are welcome to visit our farm and see exactly where their puppy was raised. We’re proud to show off the care we put into every detail.

Three Sizes to Choose From
Every family is different, and we believe you should be able to find a Bernedoodle that fits your lifestyle perfectly. That’s why we choose to raise three different sizes of Bernedoodles in our breeding program.
Micro Bernedoodles are our smallest option, typically reaching 15 to 25 pounds when fully grown. Perfect for apartment living or families who want a compact companion with all the Bernedoodle charm.
Mini Bernedoodles are a mid-size option that offers the best of both worlds. Great for families who want a dog that’s manageable in size but still substantial enough for outdoor adventures.
Standard Bernedoodles are our largest size, for those who love a bigger dog. Standards inherit more of that classic Bernese Mountain Dog presence while still benefiting from the Poodle’s intelligence and coat.

We Do Things Right
Our dogs live in our kennel, but they’re still treated like members of our family. We’re with them every day, and our children are constantly involved, playing with puppies, helping with daily care, and forming real connections with our dogs. We see every animal as a gift from God, worthy of love and respect, and that belief guides how we raise each and every puppy.

Bernedoodles require comprehensive genetic testing on all our breeding dogs to screen for hereditary conditions that can affect the breed. Every mother receives veterinary examinations every six months or when needed to ensure she’s healthy and ready to raise a healthy litter. Before any puppy goes home with their new family, they’re fully vaccinated, dewormed on a vet-recommended schedule, and given a thorough health evaluation.
2. Making Sure Our Puppies Have Great Temperaments
All Bernedoodle sizes are known for their friendly, affectionate personalities, and we work hard to ensure our puppies have the best temperaments. Each puppy undergoes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which is a program that helps build stress tolerance, strengthen the immune response, and promote overall resilience. Our puppies also engage in play sessions with our children and other dogs. This exposure helps produce confident, well-adjusted puppies ready to fit seamlessly into a new family’s life.
3. There from the First Breath
When one of our mothers goes into labor, we’re by her side. We help keep her calm and comfortable, and we carefully examine each puppy as soon as they arrive. Being present from birth allows us to identify any concerns immediately and ensures every puppy gets the attentive care they need from their very first moments.
